WHAT WE DO
It is our personal mission to seek out fresh insights about God and encourage churches to focus on Him in worship, by providing economical and educational worship resources. Click over to our FREE WORSHIP RESOURCES page to get started! There are even more resources available in our SHOP.
In addition to our print resources, we enjoy travelling to present the good news about God in person at church services, seminars, campmeetings, spiritual retreats, weeks of prayer, concerts, and our own signature WOW events. OUR CORE BELIEF
God is the only journey.
There is nothing more exciting in this life than to learn more about Him, our great Creator and Friend, and we are personally in a constant pursuit of Him. When we take this journey seriously, it will necessarily affect every aspect of our lives — especially our worship. HOW WE GOT HERE
Genesis Road began as Friday Night Genesis, a monthly worship program in Battle Creek, Michigan. We began this program because of a local need for a worship experience that celebrated the character of God — the One who created us, the One who provides for all our needs, and the One who wants to spend eternity with us. After several months, we realized that truly focusing on God in worship was something missing from quite a few churches.
We also realized — from the experience of the FNG program — that focusing on him was the most incredible kind of soul food we could imagine! Determined not to keep this little secret to ourselves, in 2006, we became Genesis Road, a non-profit organization that would reach out as far as possible to share what we were learning about God with others.
