Perspective

God, Your presence surrounds us on all sides.
            Where can we go to get away from You?

You are the Beginning.
            Before there was anything else, there was You.

You are the End.
            Even if everything else disappeared, You would remain.

We see from our perspective,
            and our perspective is so limited.

But You see both the beginning and the end,
            and You are not limited by anything!

Darkness is not dark to You.
            Even the night shines as brightly as the day!

Your ways are higher than our ways.
            Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Help us to trust in Your perspective,
            even when we can’t see it clearly.

Help us to remember that You are God.
            You will faithfully complete everything You start!
